I was day dreaming the other day when I started musing on what would be my ideal

Maui came to mind, but only because I have been fascinated by the Island since my sister and her hubby visited it a couple of years back.  The pictures they’d taken while on their trip were enviably lovely.  I couldn’t believe the vibrant and rich colors of the flowers and tropical birds there.

At the time, I didn’t have a job so I didn’t have the money to go.

Now, several years later and steadily employed, I can seriously muse about grabbing a hot Maui vacation rental  and becoming a beachcomber for a week or two.

After settling in, I think I would go snorkeling or clam digging.  I would hopefully have a few friends along for the ride and we would gather on the beach to east crab, clams and various fresh sea food by a warm fireside.  Afterwards, we would just chill and enjoy a Maui sunset.

I have always wanted to go hang gliding as well, so it would be neat to find a rather picturesque mountain to hop off of and just take in the gorgeous island below me as I sailed by.

Yes, one day I plan to make Hawaii travel a part of my future-but for now, I guess I can just dare to dream…
